General Guidelines All classes
-Always have your Disable slow active.
-Keep Tiger Power active.
Talents recommended: Leg Sweep OR Ring of Peace, Healing Elixirs
General
Ret Paladins can be a pain to fight since they rely heavily on kiting to survive against melee classes. Most Ret Paladins tend to use Burden of Guilt in duels, making it even harder to hit them. Expect this to be either a long fight of kiting and healing, or a short fight of burst.
Start off next to the Paladin to apply Disable. If the Paladin uses Freedom and tries to kite, wait a few seconds and then use Paralysis, then Leg Sweep and start your rotation. The Paladin should trinket and attempt to kite you again. This time, wait it out and use Flying Serpent Kick to get back on him. His Guardian pet can actually hurt, but you need your defensives for his main cooldowns. When he uses Guardian he is usually preparing for HUGE damage.
Hammer/Fist of Justice and Burst
When the Paladin stuns you, you must check for a few things. If he is using his cooldowns, use Nimble Brew IMMEDIATELY and use Touch of Karma. With 5.3, Ret Paladin burst is phenomenal. If you are still taking a lot of damage, use Fortifying Brew and kite him. If he doesnt use cooldowns but you are at low health, use Nimble Brew and heal yourself up. If none of the above is happening, just wait out the stun. The Paladin usually tries to bait you into using your trinket so he can use his cooldowns with his next stun. You shouldnt need your freedom trinket at all, unless Nimble Brew is on cooldown when you need it.
Divine Shield/Hand of Protection
When the Paladin uses this, just heal yourself. The Paladin will try to do the same thing during this time. Just dont use Chi Wave until its over. If he tries to attack you while in Divine Shield, hes trying to build Holy Power or hes an idiot.
