Thanks for the feedback! Yeah I have used Earth Shield in the past. Just used it on my pug nh I did, I will keep it in and get used to it more.

I used to keep Deluge as I thought it went well with the leggo boots, but I will try AG going forward.

Best of luck in ToS

I value echo over CB, i think the talents he was looking at was ancestral vigour as opposed to est or acp as it's not really a raid specced talent and is only used in 5 mans. Also Deluge over ancestral guidance which is really a wasted talent as you can't force chain heal onto your riptide targets any longer, so only really works in 5mans in a very confined space. As we're a raiding guild and progressing through mythic raids, I would recommend changing from the chain heal build if you were to be successful.

Thanks all for the replies! That's understandable on the healer situation, I am not sure I'd be experienced enough as a DPS to feel comfortable applying to be honest.

To answer the Q above

Leggo's: Unfortunately these are my only ones along with Sephuz :( I certainly wouldn't have picked them.

As for talents, I prefer the chain heal spec which is why I went for the final row talent.

I am guessing you are wondering about Echo vs Cloudburst? I have played around with Cloudburst but I prefer Echo as a personal preference as I like the charges of riptide + Healing spring.

I have played around with the Ascendance build for burst healing fights along however I feel like that is not really playing to the Shaman's strengths even if it gives you higher numbers on the meter. In M+ I find that the chain heal spec is invaluable especially higher affixes where continuous group healing is the order of the day.

Hi Hierithom,

Thank you for your application!

As of now though, as mentioned before, we don't have any healer spots available. We will discuss this amongst us and let you know our definite answer shortly.

/o

Hi,

Thanks for the app. I think you would have more luck if you tried on your elemental spec but obviously don't want to push you into a direction you're not interested in. I'm sure an office will respond in due course.

Cheers.

As Erian mentioned we are pretty heavily subbed on healers, in fact our recruitment at the moment is looking for ranged dps.

Would you mind if i asked about you choices for talents and legos you are currently using, as they seem different to those i would expect for HC raiding or mythic +, as i'm always looking for new information & tips/tricks :)

Best of luck with application

Thanks for the app - I'm sure an officer will be along soon to comment. My guess is that we are a bit heavy on healers at present, which is unfortunate. It is hard to find a nice guild.

Hierithom - Restoration Shaman

  1. ABOUT YOUR CHARACTER
    1. Character name: Hierithom
    2. Class: Shaman
    3. Mainspec: Restoration
    4. Offspec Elemental (I can M+ as my offspec, ilevel is 894 I believe, and have raided normal in pugs on it):
    5. Battletag:
    6. https://worldofwarcraft.com/en-gb/chara ... /hierithom
  2. ABOUT YOU
    1. Name: Joe
    2. Age : 25
    3. Country: United Kingdom, England
    4. Tell us something about yourself (hobbies or anything else you want to share with us)
I live in Brighton, UK but was born in Wolverhampton - near Birmingham in the centre. Eclectic mix of interests including obviously WoW/gaming but also a big sport fan as well as socialising with my friends irl.
  3. EXPERIENCE & RAIDING
    1. Why do you like playing this specific class and spec?
Legion is my first time healing and I feel much more at home in this role. I enjoy the mix of proactive and reactive game-play, and the decision making it allows. I have been in love with Shaman's since I read the book (actual paper book!!) guild when I first brought a copy of Wotlk. The versatility and class fantasy really attracts me to it.
    2. What class/role specific resources do you read or use to improve your gameplay? (websites, blogs, etc)
I find the Shaman discord channel extremely useful and chain heal the Resto shaman website is great for discussion. Fat Boss are my go to for raid guides, as well as Icy Veins for a signpost for learning about other classes which i've quickly learnt is vital.
    3. What is your previous raiding experience?
Pugging and some guild runs mainly. My former guilds were social guilds, so it made raiding extremely difficult and at times frustrating due to the lack of communication and organisation.
    4. We raid on Wed/Thurs/Sun/Mon from 21:00 to 23:30 server time. How many raids do you expect to attend per week?
      3/4
  4. EASY
    1. Why did you choose to apply to Easy?
I have been looking for a guild on my server for a number of weeks if not months, Easy seem to be progressing very nicely and to be frank the fact you have a clean and easy to navigate website displays a level of professionalism I like.
    2. Do you have any friends in Easy?
      No
    3. Have you been in other guilds and if so, why are you no longer in these guilds?
Last two guilds were Credendo Vides (disbanded) and ancient blade. I am no longer in ancient blade as it was a social guild and I would like to try raiding more seriously. I am still in contact with many people in the guild though as they are great people.
Thank you for reading, I realise given my experience and the class/spec it is a long shot but any feedback you have on my app would be greatly recieved.
best
Joe
