Again, I'm sorry for being late today, I was working very late, and although I was sure I was going to make it... I didn't. I was trying to contact Raha and Ika but with little success.

Anyway, what I wanted to say is this: you had 12 people signed, and yet you almost cancelled the event. True, me and Raha weren't there, but you still had the needed 10. Guys, I'm not going to be there for every Tuesday and Firday, I hope you realise that. I'm a person who got those going in the first place, but I'm not someone who necessarily needs to lead here. Please take over if I'm not around.

I dare to say you shouldn't skip or replace pvp gear with pve unless it's a heroic drop with some exceptional stats.

Untill 4.1 resilience was the most useful stat for the majority of classes, including plates - my warrior is still gemmed with resilience here and there. Post 4.1, as Aicha mentioned, it's become a little less effective but only for ppl with +3k resilience. Imho 3k is the minimum threshold which provides some surviveability and reduces nerdraging.

PS. Fungi, you could probably beat most classes naked in a duel but with a bit of dispelling from a half decent healer, mages taste like chicken

It's always been important. Same as in wotlk - dps classes, especially rogues, tend to mix up resi gear with raiding gear for higher damage.
Healers who mainly depend on survival still use resilience on (almost) every piece.
Blizzard did tune the value of high resilience down in the last patch. It used to be that every point of resilience gave you more value than the last one, now it's linear.
The main effect is that people with very high resilience (>4k I'm guessing) are dying a bit easier than before.

PS: Incidentally, pvp gear has a higher ilvl than comparable raid gear.
PPS: It's mostly a matter of trial and error. No resilience means you'll die before you can do your "stuff". If you can do your "stuff" without dying ever, you're probably safe to replace resilience with int/agi/str/whatever stat you think you need. Healers will usually want to be the hardest targets on the pitch, so value resilience higher.

Has the importance of resi increased in Cata, compared with wotlk? At least for hunters many of the better pvpers in wotlk kept saying ilevel above anything else...
