What was her reason to teach herself? To not go to school? ços maybe that will work against het if she wants to find a job in that area..not sure ofc. but can imagine that companies need to see ancertificate of osme sort when hiring people?

She wants to be an environment artist so it's ALL about having a good portfolio and knowing the software. A certificate is not valued that highly when companies would rather see samples of the work that you can do. If you're a good artist and can use all the software, they don't care too much about qualifications. If she was going into the more technical side of game design it would maybe be a little different.

She wants to be an environment artist so it's ALL about having a good portfolio and knowing the software. A certificate is not valued that highly when companies would rather see samples of the work that you can do. If you're a good artist and can use all the software, they don't care too much about qualifications. If she was going into the more technical side of game design it would maybe be a little different.
