M&M's ! (Music and Movies)

Post by Fungi »

I remember we had a thread like this before, so here's one again !

Yesterday I saw this awesome action movie called "Wanted". The plot is semi-interesting and the effects are actually pretty cool ! Also, there's Mrs. Pitt-Jolie in there, so that kinda helps. If you're not shy of a little gunfight (or a lot actually), lots of blood and pretty graphic violence, this is a movie you should definately watch !

I saw a trailer for this and people seem to go around bending the trajectory of bullets. I hope it doesn't take itself too seriously. I will get around to watching this though when it comes out on dvd. (plus Jolie = hawt)

I saw Wanted the other day, very good action movie i enjoyed it.
One to look out for is a film called "into the wild" based on a true story of an american college graduate who gives all his money away to charity with the dream of living in the wilds of alaska, really well acted film.

"Wanted" definately looks like one to watch!

Couldn't sleep some time ago, so turned on the tv and started zapping a bit....bumbed into "Old School"starting on the BBC.
Normally this genre really is not for me, but I guess this is the exception to the rule.

Just wondering, anyone else addicted to "The Deadliest Catch" on Discovery?

That would be my girlfriend. Since it's start at 12 and finishes at 1 ... I usually miss a bit of it :)

Already posted it on the previous forums, but Gloomy Sunday is a great (filmhousy) movie:

Different style of movie, but very fun: Crank!

And - probably - the only movie that Mickey Rourke ever played a decent role in: Angel Heart. :)

Also saw Crank recently, cool movie.

Latest ones I've seen at the cinema are Hancock and Dark Knight, both good although Hancock borders on the brilliant. If you're going to see anything go see that. Dark Knight was great too but went went on a bit and I got bored of the Gotham cops being so retarded and dying ALL the time.

Asian movies and fighting sequences... gotta love them

Now check this one out, I think it's the authors are the same as for Shaolin Soccer:

Best film I have seen recently is Batman- lived up to the hype.

I'm a big fan of Chuck Palahniuk's books and just finished his non fiction collection. For those that don't know him he's a gritty writer and wrote the book "Fight Club". There's a new film coming out based on another of his books- Choke.
