Starfall is part of my single target rotation (if more than one add are up it gives me better chance to proc on crit). This could easily be true for aoe abilities of other classes.

But in a fight where you have been specifically told not to AoE, then you take it out of your rotation, I don't care if it loses you some dps. I've noticed Starfall come up on the Protectors fight too, but that doesn't matter so much, where as a fight where we are trying to CC adds you should really know better.

Sorry, you are correct. I did break trap once during our kill.

Protectors, however, are completely different beast, and there it comes down to flat out doing less dps on skull if I don't cast starfall.

I've got no issue with AoE on Protectors if it increases your single target dps, every class should know if it does or doesn't, just don't want metermaiding (not that I think you are one ).

Guilty for Flamestrike, but on first attempts - absent on kill. I had't understood the tagging mechanic by DBM for the Skull and was trying to hit everything when they spawned.
