BUMP!

Imo, CC 2 Menders, 1 Blademaster, 1 Trapper. (this is also preferred kill order)
Kill the Menders first, preferably before boss = 75%

Assign:
4 CC'ers
2 Interrupters for Mending (1 as back up)
1 Mass dispeller for Quickening

All in big circle around boss (at least 2yd.)
Face boss towards Rdps (to avoid getting Whirling Blade in Mdps).
Healing CD's on Rain of Blades.

Hero when all adds are down.

Barr hero (and having anyone that can interrupt doing so on the Menders) that's what we did. Should be an easy kill, got him to 36% ish with some messy attempts and Mumble breaking up. Just getting used to placing pools/wind bombs will be the key and getting out of melee if you have amber debuff.

You kept saying this last night, what do you mean place? He throws it at you, you have to move out, you cant place it anywhere.

Wind Bomb

"Wind Bomb is an ability that Mel'jarak casts regularly after he reaches 75% health. He throws a bomb at the location of a raid member, which deals a high amount of Nature damage to anyone within 5 yards of the location. 3 seconds after landing, the bomb arms itself and explodes if any raid members come within 6 yards of it, dealing a very high amount of raid-wide Nature damage. The bombs that Mel'jarak casts do not despawn, and remain present in the room until the end of the fight, progressively limiting the space that players have to move around."

How much money does George have?

I mean, stand somewhere sensible (as far away as possible to 'place' the bomb and move in a bit.) I could change that to drop, locate, situate or deposit. In other words you place it where you stand, so once you've placed one you can stand near the edge of it to overlap them if you get another one.

The issue is getting the raid to stand where they should be. many puddles were 'placed' in the wrong areas, but as it was a nightmare with mumble last night I didn't worry too much.

Main thing.... Please everyone watch the video, hopefully it will give people an idea of positioning.

Ok, that's not what I picked up from last night, you appeared to give the impression that you had time on the bomb landing to move it. Hence the confusion.

Last phase dps has to be fast else well simply run out of room (could use sacrificial noams to clear up some space  ).

Not only fast, we need to reposition him after all adds are down imo. If he is tanked in the center during the last fase there will be plenty room to spread around and put your bombs down.
Say a three quarter circle (noone behind melee cause of Whirling Blade) with even spread for instance, start out at max distance go sidewise or close in the moment you get a bomb on you. Spreading well also reduces the number of people that could get hit with Whirling Blade.

As for the CC-ing, might be an idea to CC 2 trappers and have an extra mender on the loose. Reasoning for this: less people trapped, less people need to untrap -> higher dps and adds down faster. Also, interrupting the menders is not hard at all. One person can do it easily. So two interrupters on each mender should guarantee 100% interrupts, and since dmg is shared over all menders there is no dps lost that way.

Probably the single best fight for SV hunters in the living history of the game, please don't put them on CC.

Mages are ideal for CCing. Amber prisons can't hold us!
