Quickie:

4 bosses, focus on Empowered one.

KILL/slow/stun beasts (from Marli) and spirits first & ASAP

DPS
  • SPREAD 10yds
  • INTERRUPT Sul & Marli at all times
  • red circle -> needs 4 additional players (frost bite)
  • RUN from Dark Beast add when focused
  • MOVE away from Kazrajin roll trail
  • MOVE away from dust patches
  • stop killing yourself while dps'ing empowered Kazrajin
TANKS
  • Pick up Sul (interrupt Sand Bolt) and Marli (interrupt Wrath of Loa) each
  • Taunt Malakk at 9 stacks (Rigid Assault debuff)
  • Move boss away from healing beast
  • Sul tank, pick up Sand adds

Soo... the dilemma's:

- Getting stunned by Sul or playing pingpong with Malakk

- 3 tanks?? or a better solution for the damn sand adds...

Also... i didn't suggest it, but in LFR, everyone starts with just nuking down Sul, and leave Malak untouched in his Empowerement for a bit till Sul is dead. Might that be an option?

Nuking down Sul isn't an option, not by a long shot, more than several ticks of the 100-energy aura and we're all dead.
Playing pingpong with Malakk induced a lot more chaos, but is probably more manageable healing-wise.
As for the sand adds, maybe it would be an option for one of the dps to taunt the priestess off her tank until Sul's phase is over? This would reduce the dmg the tank is taking and perhaps made it possible for him/her to gather up all the adds. Currently we're getting sand traps from fallen adds all over the place, including right under Sul.

It might also be worth to really stress out that
"square" = hug
"cross" = get the hell away from everyone

Even after yelling it, people were doing the opposite.

I'm inclined to stick with the pingpong tactic. And freeing the Marli tank of Marli sounds like a reasonable option too, she hits like a girl. Though Malakk will still need to be taunted off during the Sandstorms.

Just a recap of assignments we used on Monday (still need tweaking though):

- 1tank on Sul + 1 extra interrupter for Sand Bolt (not all the Bolts will be interrupted but that's ok)
- 1tank on Marli & Malakk (to start with) + 1 extra interrupter for Wrath of Loa
- pingpong on Malakk, call out at about 9 stacks

- healing cds for the reflected dmg when Kazrajin is empowered (keep nuking though)

- 1 main stunner or slower on every beast (we had ze chicken for this) + call out!!

- all Rdps on aoe of Sand Adds, while all Mdps on Sul
- all earthbind totems on adds, aoe stuns and slows (though no frost patches!!)

- 1 healer assigned to run to when you're "squared" (we had Moolly with her chain heals for this)

I'd like to point out few things concerning my class on this encounter.
Summoned Beast can be Gripped by a deathknight.
Sand adds should be viable to gorefiends grasp, but that would require a deathknight to spec blood to survive - unless they hit like kittens. Was unable to focus on that last night :)
Deathknights not specced tank are horrible for tanking Sul when hes active. Our only taunt has 30 second cd, and as i miscalculated time for taunt yesterday, Sul went to hug Tanny along with his adds, making all melee lives pretty hard.

Perhaps bringing a third tank would be an option then, if we have issues with dps then we can always go back, but as it is we're just getting blown up in always the same moment.

Nihil... 2 sandadds bashed me to death quitte quickly, so I doubt they hit like kittens. Could also have been because I was standing in nasty stuff ofcourse, but I didn't notice that. Anyway.. first impression is that they hit rather hard.
