No tankspot vid from Tankspot :(

But… Aliena's back! (10 man though)

And love this Danger Dolan guy. Good substitute for Fatboss to get a fun fix:

Quickie:

4 Phases = 3mounts + Quon

Taunt off after 2 Impales.

1. Fire
Spread out 10yds.
Avoid fire lines from Spear (stacks up fire dot!!).
Have group of 5 people stacked to soak Unleashed Flame. Get 2 stacks of Scorched, then spread out again. Rinse repeat with 5 grps.

2. Lightning
Avoid blue lines from Spear (3 stacks = stun).
Click on stunned, unhealable people from Lightning Storm (cloud above your head).
Run to other side of room when Windstorm tornadoes!! (use lock portals?)

3. Ice
Spread out (to get rid of all debuffs).
Avoid blue lines from Spear (4 stacks = useless raid member).
Dps from side that is not shielded.

4. Iron Quon --> HERO!
STACK.
Fist Smash = massive aoe.
Avoid additional cyclones.

5. Loot

Initial thought without seeing fight in practice might be use of stampeding roar/symb on warriors for traversal to other side of room given charge limit / recharge on lock portals. Depends on how many times this will be needed in this phase and/or group makeup

Roar helps but healers should be ones taking the lock portal(s). Also, stampeding roar clears slow/cast-time debuff during the third phase.

I'd also like to point out that it's important to drop any debuffs we have before stacking for third phase. It's discussed in Alienas video.

Tweaks:

Pair up Mdps.
4 grps of 5 will do so we have 3 back up raiders.

Is it maybe an option to have Mdps stack up in trios?
One duo was still too close to another duo (and tanks), hence us getting Scorch on several occasions…

I'm also thinking about maybe have the RL call out the stacking of the grps instead of all the grp individuals...

These guys suggest a variety of tactics for p1, it is for heroic version, but sounds simpler so maybe it could be applied to normal too.

Hmmmm, all Mdps stacked in 1 grp soaking up to 14 Scorches (or a bit less, trial and error to see how much they CAN soak).
Then spread out and have remaining Scorches go to a Rdps grp.

Might be a solution for us?

Melee should have been fine, it just takes awareness to make sure you are always at range, some failed for a good while to go to their position. Also melee have to be ready to move away and not dps rather than cause a wipe because they can't be in position (due to fire/etc) and stand closer rather than getting out.

The real issue comes in p2 as we can't stack without getting the debuff. Lir and I specced into shuriken Throw and ran out do make some room.

A melee cap of 5 would help and putting one melee in each soak team would also clear some room.

Definitely need someone who is clear over mumble to do the calls, I didn't hear a lot of the calls at all.

All of this is null and void if people can't handle running through the tornados and spreading out when they get to the other side. Save your defensive CD's for it and use any speed boosts you can (if we don't have stampede ofc).

Sounds interesting, Rogues can cloak off the stacks anyway.....
