Or, even better, we don't miss the bouncing balls so don't get adds... ;)

Issues:

- Silly deaths still
- Slow recovery
- Lack of focus
- Huge overhealing capacity

7H is way too many to take. P1 is easily manageable by 3 competent H, possibly even 2. If we adopt the 3-pillar strategy, that requires use of a couple of raid saves just before intermission, but this is simple to arrange. The 4-pillar strategy doesn't even need that.

I strongly recommend 5H for subsequent tries. If we are regularly getting to P3 (which we are not yet) and we seem to be a bit low on H, we can always go back to 6H. Bear in mind we (H) significantly outgear a raid which was designed for 5-6H.

Our corner had a couple of close calls with bad RNG, fast reaction by all saved the day.

What we couldn't dodge though was the double static shock in the 2nd Intermission where no one could solo soak any of them. Killed the whole group.

Split second decision to self sacrifice may be needed in these cases I'm afraid, then hope there's a spare BR.

^^ This drives me nuts, less chat (outward/internal/private) if you don't mind and get your ass in gear and in position, granted last night wasn't ideal but for future attempts can we please get a jog on (don't make me use traps to dictate pace  ).
Maths problem of the day:
If George is 73 and his girlfriend is 26,
How much money does George have?

Agree. I think a 6H strategy is optimal. One extra DPS would have made a difference last night as regards when Transitions popped. We'd have beaten the purple corner on the pillar race that way.

Last nights raid struggled with getting setup, so some of the slowness is accounted for by that.

Indeed, little of this is the fault of the RL. You must be tearing your hair out.

Last modifications, since we all seem to die from Static Shock at the start of Intermission:

We start on PINK

Pink - Green - Yellow - Middle
intermission
Red - Yellow - Green - Green - Middle
intermission
WIN

also… 5H

It's not really about where you start, it's what you overload?

So the tweak here is pink/purple first then Green?

Remember that with this strat the emphasis is spreading including the 2nd phase when mixed up with lightning whip and static orbs.

Did you play this? How was it?

It felt a lot more comfortable, the spreading and stacking went without trouble.
We wiped over and over again on the previous order of pillars because of multiple Static Shocks, followed by stuns and inability to run to the swirls in time.
With the new order, we didn't have to worry about that part.

You're right in saying that the overload matters, not what we start with. But it's easier to remember that when your first pillar should be the one going down first ;)

The rest of the strats we had, remained the same.

Starting at the purple pillar, means we we power it up, which in turn means that Static Shock deals more damage than with the old strategy.

Tonight we had problems with people dying to Static Shock even when they were all stacked correctly, because it just deals too much damage. Therefore, it might be an idea to move between the pillars more frequently, so that the purple one doesn't reach quite so high a charge. For example, there seems to be a Thunderstruck at around 64; we could move then, rather than at 80+, and then move at around 50 on the other pillars. Our DPS is quite high. We didn't even have to move to the centre after the third pillar now, so using all four pillars shouldn't be an issue. In fact, we only swapped to using three pillars, and then the centre, because we didn't want to power up purple at all, so sticking to that plan is a bit silly now. Anyway, some food for thought.

Interesting…

Yes… yes, let's try that.
