if it was karast and copp tanking it might be that copp are using mocking blow in his rotation, which after 5 mocking blows (taunts) he goes immune, that would mean diminishing return have been applied and you will need to wait 1.5min for DR to wear off.
I never use mocking blow in rotation is only ever used if a taunt fails, and we had taunts immune on the very second taunt on pull 1. (remember MB will make the target to turn to me for 6 secs regardless of threat) I never use MB, dont need it to keep threat up and would never use it when boss is on K

next time we are there I'll try to glyph for it just in case. Though from all that I've read so far I'm starting to doubt tht it was us missing taunts and tend to go with "bug".
Another thing I'm going to try is additional agro mang. - bubble on switch or just Salv. should make sure that it never becoems an issue.

Okay, I think we need to focus a little bit on Saurfang. Apart from the normal stuff, we need to take care of few additional things:

1) This is somewhat a dps race, therefore - 2 healers should do the job, with 1 additional dps that can start to offheal when he hits 30%. In almost every tactic a Holy pala is recommended, so I don't know how are we going to manage without him ;) Pala could take up first mark and still heal tanks, when the second healer is off-dpsing the boss, and can switch into tank healing before the second mark (pala takes then 2 marks on himself).

2) The trick is to dps him down and avoid initial Blood Power Gains, so that 1st mark lands as late as possible. Therefore if Boling Blood lands on someone from below list:
- paladins can cast Hand of Protection on someone to mitigate it (pref. casters)
- Divine Shield helps as well, if BB is on the pala
- mages can Ice Block if it's cast on them
- rogues can Cloak of Shadows
- SP can disperse
(did I forget about sth?)

3) Healers should save their cooldowns for Mark/Boiling Blood combo, especially when he hits Frenzy.

4) Amplify Magic, if available - is helpful here, as his damage is all physical.

5) If there's a warrior tank available - Improved Demo Shout reduces dmg on Marked targets as well, so it's vital for healers. Piercing Howl can slow the beasts as well.

6) Typhoon and Thunderstorm (knocking back) beasts is also really helpful, as well as Icy Chains from dk at start. Hunters shouldn't try putting traps if there are other means, dps is here far more important.

Thx Ika. With the 20% buff it should imo be perfectly doable with 3 healers as well. I noticed as a disc you need almost every gcd to heal 'your' mark, not much time left to help on tank/BB targets.

I think we all loved the raid last night, brought something new and challenging to the table.

Tuesday (or sooner if someone plans it) is follow up. Plz read up on Saurfang, Festergut, Rotface and Prof when you decide to sign. My idea is to plan 1 or 2 10men hardmode raids per week. At some point I'd like to mix in the achievements as well.

If we get oversigned, which I hope, we should try to go for 3 ranged dps, 2 melee and replenishment present. Me and other healers went oom when 3-healing, and were fine for mana with 2 healers + replenish......
