Quickie:

Alternating 2 phases.

Ph1:
Malkorok in middle, raid SPREAD around 5yds.
Tank swap around 15 Fatal Strike.
Pre-heal to keep shields up.
Stand in the 7 voidzones with defensive CD.
Run out of Arcing Smash and Breath (crackled zone on floor).
(Breath comes after 3 Smashes, explodes suddenly, so remember previous Smash zones!)

Ph2 when rage=100, all STACK on tanks.
20 sec. heavy aoe healing! (no more shields)
Run away 8yd with debuff Displaced Energy, wait for dispel or till it's run out.
HERO.
Heal everyone back up to 100% when going back to ph1.

Enrage = 6 mins.

Reminder for people to watch tactics for tonight. Aliena's video is a nice short summary. 5 minutes homework, job done. :)

Extremely easy fight.

Healers, just heal your hearts out. On flex I used my aoe CDs (DH, Halo) on cd from the start.

Note to healers: just be sure you're able to see the shield colors on your Vuhdo / Grid / <insert your unit frames here> for this fight

just a little suggestion for breath thingy ... to avoid confusion of which area did get smashed or didn't ...maybe if have a pre-assigned area that no body must stand in it at all cost (i.e put two raid markers that no body should stand between and tanks make sure that the back of the boss is not facing it, in case breath gets targeted at melee)... that way we ensure that this area is Arcing Smash free for the entire fight, and people can go to it when Breath happens...

Not sure it works like that mah, for a start people have to be spread minimum 5 yards and they have to be able to reach the purple circles very quickly. Also I don't think arcing smash actually targets anyone but is rather a random conal aoe the boss just throws around. The safest way to deal with it is to stack on the tanks as they are always aware of the smashes and where they land. The markers are very useful tho in case a tank does manage to get confused.

Yes -- add these three debuff names or their spell IDs into the debuff lists (open heal bot, Cure -> Custom, enter name or spell id in "New debuff" field, Save).

Weak Ancient Barrier - SpellID 142863
Ancient Barrier - SpellID 142864
Strong Ancient Barrier - SpellID 142865

They are case sensitive so if you use names, make sure to capitalize correctly.

You can also customize the bar colors for debuffs -- select it in the debuff drop-down list after adding, and then set the color by clicking on the colored bar labelled "custom," beside the priority setting. Also, set priorities for good measure. Give weak / regular / strong barrier priorities 1,2,3 or 5,6,7, as you wish -- just higher priority / lower number than default 10.

You can find a reference to these shield level debuffs in the resto druid tips on Icy Veins.
For vuhdo users, the orange shield is already in the debuff list. You have to add strong adn weak ancient barrier to custom debuffs.
Start every day off with a smile and get it over with.
