Team forming thread

Post by Aleila »

Hey folks,

Let's get picking up bits of gear and throwing ourselves to our certain doom in the arenas :D

I suggest interested folks add their names below, with their current resilience and brackets you're advertising for. I'll start:

Aleila, feral/resto healer - 615 resilience, looking for a 5v5 team and more people for my 3v3.
Payoffwizard SV hunter - 487 res LF 5v5
Fagan Rogue - 590 resi, but normally don't bother (1000ap more in PvE gear and still hard enough to kill) Use a bit of a mix so around 250-300 resi. LF 3v3, 5v5
Flexie Frost mage - 765 resi, looking for 5v5
Deathorglory Warrior - Getting gear, will spec arms for serious sessions LF 2v2,3v3,5v5.
KirdDeathknight around 550, 2v2 3v3 and/or 5v5
SeralathWarlock- Grinding out the blue set now. LF any bracket. Will probably go destro 17/44.
Waters Healing Priest - With 346 Resilience and easy ;)

I am interested but have not really started on any gear set for pvp so I have to say 0 resilience :(.....Think it is quite easy to get a crafted set which should be a good start. I'll start looking into it....will play any bracket.

Bump - I will start gathering the 5v5 team shortly, perhaps looking to run 10 games on Tuesday.

I will go healy - edited first post, but we could *really* use another healer.

When dual spec arrives this is something I will look at doing - deffo on Korch and maybe kents (kents spec PvP disco if I use him).

Korch already has Epix PVP gear and can craft the other parts (blues) to help boost resilience, but the question I would ask -Given that the best defence is usually a good offence, would spell penetration be better than resilience on locks?

Hmm..I have extreme amount of emblems, and our healer department is filled up. Maybe I'll dual spec disc and buy myself some pvp-gear? Looking forward to 3.1 :D

Hmm thinking of buying the frostsavage tailored set for a start....has anyone used it? Do you think it is worth it?

To me, it seems kinda crappy with no gem slots and for the 300 odd resilience I will get, I am not sure it will make much difference especially considering all the stats I will lose from my pve gear...hmmm.
